This is my second time working with Lisa English to sell a house. The first was my own home, about 3 years ago, and again recently when my sister and I were selling our late mother's house in Red Bank. In both cases Lisa was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and available to us through out the whole process. This one was a bit of a rollercoaster, but Lynn smashed the entire process out of the park! After about a 6 month search, we finally found a house worthy of an offer. The house was in an extremely sought after neighborhood and after just 3 days on the market, there were already 13+ offers. We had to get in fast and submit an offer as the seller were going to make their final decision only a couple days after I viewed the listing. After Lynn conversed with the selling agent, we had a feeling we were up against some tough offers and had to get competitive. Thanks to Lynn's knowledge of the local market, he made some suggestions to increase the likelihood of the seller accepting our offer and sure enough they did! Blaise did an outstanding job in assisting with my home purchase - I cannot recommend hm highly enough. I was buying a property from out of state, but Blaise did everything in his power to get all the information I needed and keep me informed. His insight in making the offer was also invaluable - the target number the provided for the bid was perfectly targeted in amount and timing - enough to win the bid at exactly the right time - indeed, several days later a substantially higher bid came in, but we had already reached agreement with the seller. His relationship with the seller's agent also helped smooth the process. Our plan was to have the house sold within 60 days and be settled in our new home before our daughter started school in September. Some of the best plans however don't always turn out as expected. We hired a realtor through a mutual friend. Unfortunately that plan did not work. We had an open house and only 2 people showed! Also the agent advised she did not know what else to do for us and asked us to drop our asking price. We still were not any closer to selling our house and being in our dream home before September. However, that all changed in August when we brought Kathleen on board! She sold our house in 6 days after relisting it! Unfortunately one of the buyers decided to quit their job---the mortgage company did not grant them a loan for obvious reasons. She placed our house back as active and sold it again in 13 days! Again as luck had it, our buyers were not able to secure a mortgage. We were beginning to feel defeated, but Kathleen reassured us she would be able to sell our home and get us into the school district we wanted for our daughter. She did not disappoint us---she relisted our home on a Saturday and we sold it again that following Tuesday---with multiple offers!
